Questions about the review service

Does early screening approve a product?

No. It records available evidence and clarification questions before a professional review. Saving a screening creates no review order or invoice. Older or missing documentation does not by itself demonstrate inaccessibility.

Is an ACR proof that a product is accessible?

No. It is vendor-reported evidence that must be checked for scope, completeness, testing quality, and relevance to actual use.

Can we submit only an accessibility statement?

Yes. The review can identify evidence gaps, claims, limitations, and questions. A statement alone does not yield a criterion-level conformance percentage.

Who completes the review?

Accessican professionally evaluates your evidence, documents limitations and quality-checks the report before delivery.

Does a documentation review test the live product?

No. Keyboard, screen-reader and other product testing must be expressly included in the approved service scope.

Can different institutions see our records?

Application access is restricted to institution memberships and authorized service reviewers. Sharing outside an institution is not automatic.
